Goal: Collect Stakeholder feedback and build buy-in to plan.
Description: Success of any project requires input and buy-in of stakeholders. By receiving input from the various stakeholders who are not part of the initial planning process, different perspectives can be shared that will better inform the roadmap. Additionally, when buy-in is achieved from the stakeholders by agreeing upon objectives, they are more invested and motivated to assist in the implementation of the project. The stakeholders involved will often be a broad base of people impacted by technology in the organization. Varying levels of information must be shared for feedback and buy-in according to the unique aspect of the organization; the greater the judgment required by a worker on a day-to-day basis, the greater the chance they will need to be a part of the review and consultation cycle. Part of determining the appropriate communication plan includes the consideration of what elements are relevant to the various stakeholders in its presentation. A large organization must share more specific, particularized pieces of the roadmap with different groups, while smaller organizations share a much broader picture of the roadmap with the larger organization. We help leverage your knowledge of your team and stakeholders by facilitating review and consultation cycles with the stakeholders you identify.
